Spicy Lamb Kebabs with Bell Peppers and Sweet Onions

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb boneless lamb leg, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 8 wood skewers, soaked in water
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 Tbs hot paprika
- 1 Tbs cumin, ground
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 sweet onion, chopped into 1-inch pieces
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped into 1-inch pieces
- Lemon
Directions
- Toss lamb cubes with oil, garlic, paprika, cumin, oregano, salt, and pepper; set aside for 20 minutes.
- Thread onions, peppers, and lamb onto skewers; brush with olive oil.
- Grill over hot coals (or a hot gas grill), or sear in an oiled grill pan over high heat until lamb is charred on all sides, 8 to 12 minutes.
- Squeeze lemon over kebabs; serve over warmed pita or naan.
