Cabernet Sauvignon

Cabernet Sauvignon: Main Image

Hearty and full-flavored, Cabernet Sauvignon is perhaps the world’s most popular wine, due to its power and richly textured fruit.

Native to the Bordeaux region of southwestern France, it now plays a major role in many of the world’s wine-producing regions.

Flavor Descriptors

Generally full-flavored and richly textured, it typically offers dark berry, blackcurrant and plum fruit flavors, mild green pepper, spice and herb aromatics, and often a vanilla-tinged oakiness from barrel aging.
