Even though it shares the same common name as the popular Acacia Gum (Acacia Vera), this species of Acacia is not the same, though it does share similar soothing properties. Classic herbal guides list Acacia flowers cite the flower as an herbal emollient, primarily used in topical preparations for skin care.
