Prickly Ash berries are used similarly to the bark, and according to some traditional herbalists, are even more active than the bark. Prickly Ash bark boosts circulation and also strengthens stomach function. COMMON NAMES: Northern Prickly Ash, Suterberry, Yellow Wood berries.
Herbal tonic; promotes healthy digestion; promotes circulation; supports blood cleansing; joint health (tea, capsule, salve); eases spasms.
Pour 1 cup of boiling water over ½ to 1 teaspoonful of herb. Allow to steep 4-7 minutes, then strain. Drink 1- 2 cups of tea daily. If desired, add honey and/or lemon to taste. NOT TO BE USED DURING PREGNANCY.
